NTEU Youth Desk

NTEU has established a Youth Desk to give our younger members a platform and voice in the Union in order to:

• empower our younger members with knowledge of our University policies and procedures;
• grow membership from this younger segment of staff to counter an ageing membership profile; 
• be more informed about what is transpiring in the Union and University spaces from the younger members' perspectives;
• grow our Union's conscience, reflecting often on one's own conduct, intentions and character, increasing the obligation to do right and be good.

 

Ms Lumka Fani was elected at the Youth Desk Chair in 2025.  Mr Athi Ndita was elected as the Youth Desk Vice-Chair.  They will serve a 2-year-term.
